Ellen McMahon is currently the Dean of the degree programs and faculty at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She acts as the chief academic officer overseeing the MBA program providing curriculum development and support. Dr. McMahon recruits, selects and develops faculty who provide direct instruction in keeping with the philosophy of learning and teaching of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (LFGSM).
Prior to joining the LFGSM, Dr. McMahon was an associate professor of management at National Louis University where she taught international management. In addition to her teaching she directed the Center for Online Learning and was instrumental in developing and maintaining a partnership with WSB-NLU in Nowy Sacz, Poland. Dr. McMahon earned a Fulbright Teaching Scholar’s Award and in 2005-06 taught at the University of Sarajevo with the Economics Faculty in Bosnia Herzegovina.
In 1992 she earned an MBA from Dominican University and in 2000 her Ed.D. in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University.
