Elle Kaplan

Elle Kaplan is the CEO and Founding Partner of Lexion Capital Management, one of the only 100% woman-owned asset management firms in the U.S. Originally from the Midwest, Elle arrived in New York after college and worked her way up Wall Street. Her successful career spans investment banking, private equity, asset management, institutional trading, and private banking. Elle earned her Executive MBA in Finance from Columbia University.
Throughout her career, Elle envisioned a better standard of business in the financial industry, one that would empower clients and serve their best interests. She founded Lexion Capital Management to provide top-tier asset management and investment advice—her way. Her goal is to build a more ethical, more transparent, more inclusive Wall Street.
Providing uniquely ethical, accessible money management with a woman-led team, the Lexion brand has garnered national attention. Elle’s story and expertise have been featured in such media outlets as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Reuters, The Fiscal Times, CNBC, MSNBC, Yahoo! Finance, and many more. She is a business correspondent on the national news, and a frequent featured speaker at conferences and events in the business community.
Elle remains a dedicated contributor to the community through her volunteer work as a career mentor with everyone from fellow female executives to local high school students. She continuously works to improve the underrepresentation of women in executive positions and in finance, and to empower women in all fields.
