Andrew Roszak
Andrew Roszak--JD, MPA, EMT-Paramedic serves as the executive director at the Institute for Childhood Preparedness. As part of this work, Mr. Roszak also serves as the Chief of Preparedness, Health and Environment for the Region 2 Head Start Association. Roszak has worked in emergency preparedness, response and recovery for over two decades. He has provided expertise and assistance to numerous disasters, including the recent hurricanes in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, as well as the recent earthquakes in Puerto Rico. He has been teaching active shooter preparedness for early childhood for the past six years and has trained over 19,000 teachers, child care providers, parents and community members. Roszak previously served as a firefighter/paramedic and is also an attorney. He has received numerous awards for his work, including being recognized as a Sesame Street Hero.
