Should I stay or should I go?
Some of us love to stay in our comfort zone. We spend most of our lives living in one home, close to family members, enjoying the familiarity of things. We are happy and the life we choose fits us perfectly.
Others out there will thrive on change, and explore traveling as much as possible. The experiences, the newness and the unfamiliarity is something they cherish and enjoy. One thing is certain; we are not one size fits all and that is what makes us unique and original. In any case both extremes and all of us in between must be validated and acknowledged.
I personally believe that traveling is a form of a direct contribution to our personal growth, education, knowledge and understanding. Along with each experience we explore new places, new cultures and new forms of art beyond our imagination. When we go to new countries we are so beautifully exposed to other languages, dishes marking the originality of that country and more; the old and the new staring at us side by side companions coloring the scenery.
I remember so clearly the first time I visited Rome and the fountain of Trevi.
The tradition says that if you throw a coin into the fountain and you make a wish you will be back. Indeed I tossed the shiny coin into the fountain, made a wish and three years later I was standing in the same spot reminiscing and smiling. One of the greatest countries I so passionately adore is Italy.
Italy introduces to us hundreds of years of art, culture, design, music, style, food and so much more. If you visit Florence you will be mesmerized when you walk on the Ponte Vechio bridge. You will walk along side of hundreds of people of all ages, from all walks of life and hear various languages and be hypnotized by the jewelry and art shops with showcases of the very finest pieces. You will feel the magic in the air.
The world is out there waiting for you!
Italy looks like a boot on the map, but there so much more to Italy. Whether you are visiting North or South or everywhere in between, each region and area has a certain expertise and unique beauty. A pizza in Rome will taste differently than a pizza in Sorrento, Amalfi Coast or Milan.
Traveling can be challenging and stressful when you don’t know where to go, how to book tickets and what places should you visit, events you might like to participate in, art exhibits, museums, ancient history, entertainment and amusement parks, and of course where is the best place to stay to fit your budget and your expectations. There is so much to consider and organize and plan ahead.

The use of traveling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are.” – Samuel Johnson, often referred to as Dr Johnson, was an English writer who made lasting contributions to English literature as a poet, essayist, moralist, literary critic, biographer, editor and lexicographer.
